Teacher: What did you have last night?
Child: I had a pancake.
Teacher: You had pancakes?
Child: Yeah.
Teacher: Oh my goodness. You had pancakes for dinner? That's my
favorite. Let's see. Do we have pancakes? (pause) Dustin, could you make
us a pancake?
Dustin: Coming right up.
Teacher: Coming right up? Make us a pancake. Are you making some
pancakes? Just like Sierra has a pancake in the pan. (to Dustin) What
did you have for dinner last night, Dustin?
Dustin: Uh
broccoli.
Teacher: Broccoli, and what else?
Dustin: Ham.
Teacher: Ham.
Dustin: Noodles.
Teacher: Noodles
Oh, I should have come to your house for
dinner.
Girl: I'm gonna drink pretend coffee.
Teacher: Pretend coffee? Yeah, 'cause Kelly needs some of that
pretend coffee too. (pause) Where am I supposed to put it?
Girl: laughs. (to Dustin) There you go.
Teacher: Thanks for your pancake, just like Shannon's. What do
you say, Sierra?
